I think it would be fun for a story to have no respect for it's setting, like putting a monastery circa 1506 on modern Staten island for a character to run to in desperation to try and escape the consequences of his actions
Or like just removing the majority of skyscrapers in midtown Manhatten so the Chrysler building can be drawn at more cool looking angles
I mean the first thing happened in Dimension 20 but I wouldn’t say it has no respect for its settings.
