Since you know so much about US cities, what place would you recommend for someone who wants to be close to nature but also wants to never touch another car again?

I would unironically suggest Philadelphia, it has a good parks system, and access to a lot of nature via the regional rail system. The other option is Seattle since they have busses to Olympic National Park.
