Fun fact:
There are disabled people who can't drive, designing our cities to be more walkable and making public transit more usable will benefit far more disabled people than those who will be harmed by reducing car use. Because fun fact, it is easier for people who need to drive places to be able to drive if there are fewer drivers.
Basically what I am saying is I find the argument against Walkable cities of how will this effect disabled people to be disingenuous, it will make disabled people's lives better because they will be able to get around without a car and if a disabled person needs a car then they can drive easier because less people have to drive
Repairing sidewalks to be level, having cut curbs at intersections and both building public transit and making existing transit accessible will do far more to improve disabled people’s quality of life than anything that makes it easier for people to drive like a new freeway
