So I am working on a story, I don't have it all worked out but here are the main characters
- Asshole Gay Reporter from Boston
- Bisexual Black Man who's an actor
- Some flavor of alternative fashion Lesbian (the main character)
- Bisexual Transgirl Radical
- Guy from Montreal
- The Main Characters Dead Girlfriend who she pushed into the river on accident during a fight
The Transgirl is trying to overthrow the government of New York while the rest of her friends get in pointless melodrama over a murder 2 years ago
Okay hold on is the dead girlfriend dead FROM the push into the river, or was that just the thing that everyone remembers about her?
That's what killed her, it was in January and the girlfriend couldn't swim
Is the accidental murder of the (now Dead) Girlfriend the same as the murder 2 years ago that everyone and their best friend is being melodramatic about? Or is that a totally distinct separate murder, but with hints both murders might be linked although for plot suspense reasons this is never really answered in canon?
It's the same murder at first
All of them except the Reporter knew eachother and were friends before the murder, and went separate ways after it because being together reminded them of the girlfriend. The actor moved north to Harlem, while the transgirl got into a revolutionary group, this all changes when the man from Montreal comes back in town for a play the actor stars in and discovers the main character did the murder and immediately goes to tell actor and the transgirl
