So I am thinking about train stations as the beating heart of a city and they are temples to transportation and how they could be even more, some train stations have shops on the lower levels and restaurants, Grand Central has offices in it, Penn Station has a Sports Arena even if that wasn't intentional and I am wondering to what extent we could take this
Could a train station be a city, could people live and work and enjoy themselves all within one building, a temple to modernity and a recognition of the past
I know megastructures are a bad idea, but maybe if we tried it with a train it could work
This is like a more tame version of my idea and while it doesn't have my favorite skyscraper, this does seem like a fin project
