So I am thinking about train stations as the beating heart of a city and they are temples to transportation and how they could be even more, some train stations have shops on the lower levels and restaurants, Grand Central has offices in it, Penn Station has a Sports Arena even if that wasn't intentional and I am wondering to what extent we could take this
I want the first floor of my apartment complex to be the train station
I want that too but I want to go further, I want the whole city to be a train station
Isn’t that how streetcars/trolleys work?
I mean I guess but I want an architectural marvel that elegantly calls back to the historic stations of old while remaining innovative and modern. Also I need it to be Art Deco
