I trust a fellow autistic person to give me their honest opinion about something related to something they love more than the internet at large, so I’d really appreciate it if you could give me your thoughts.
How bad would a 20-30 hour Amtrak ride ~actually~ be (I have two options for the trip)? Like realistically. I haven’t ever gotten to ride on a train before and I have an excuse to. They would cover my gas if I drove, or my ticket if I flew. But. Train. Will I regret this?
Also I can elaborate more, but I don’t know what facts you would need to give an opinion and I’d rather minimize my location information and give more later than give too much first.
I think it really depends on what kind of person you are when you have to spend a long time in a confined space and how well you can occupy yourself, I recommend bringing books to read, a laptop to write with or materials to do some kinds of physical hobby like knitting. While it very much depends on the route, some are cheaper than driving
