Reason why Columbus isn't on this list? When I was a teen in the late 90s it was very well known as a queer-friendly city. I haven't lived there since 1999 so have no clue of that's changed...

Cincy is here because I just forgot St. Louis existed and needed one more city. The reason Columbus isn’t here is because I always forget it exists
