It’s actually really good for the US and the walkability is more on a neighborhood level than a city wide level, most neighborhoods can easily be walked within but the difficulty comes from trying to walk across the whole city
Maybe the Midwest isn’t as good a place as I thought…

I Stare at some guy standing on the balcony and start pointing to the road 3 story’s down, I begin to explain to him how the city plans on repaving the road with curb bumpouts and a bike lane which is nice but there are still massive flaws with the plan such as the lack of crosswalks at all intersections and the complete failure to install critically needed stop signs
