asked: Cities make me feel trapped. There’s too many people, making uneven sounds that can’t be easily anticipated, and I’m sensitive to unpredicted sounds. It’s also really hard to block out noises without listening to music at damaging decibels.
The worst thing is being able to hear people through the walls. If I can hear people still awake, I can’t manage to go to sleep, but it’s unreasonable to expect people in an apartment building or suchlike to know when I’m trying to go to sleep and keep quiet accordingly.
I’ve learned the hard way that I’m more emotionally stable in areas with less population density.
That’s fair, I do think noise and crowdedness are 2 of the biggest issues with cities and cam cause a lot of stress
