Would centaurs be included under the ADA, because on one hand being half horse isn’t a disability really but on the other hand they are so long they might not fit in normal elevators and too tall for most buildings and doorways, meaning they would have a hard time navigating the world without accommodations

I imagine the debate about updating buildings for centaurs would be very heated. Horses weigh quite a bit more than humans so many buildings would probably have to be significantly updated, especially on upper floors, for their use. It would probably effectively redline neighborhoods as older housing would be unsuitable for centaur occupation.

Yeah and there is also the issue of like how do you raise the low ceiling of the Corridors in City Hall so that the Centuars can even access the city bureaucracy, like these issues would be baked into the fabric of society
