I decided to write some quick lore on the centuars.
The centuars were once a nomadic people on the steppe, they moved with the land and hunted for food, but after the little ice age of the 1600s, there was little food, so many centuars began to move to the cities of Eastern Europe like Krakow, Kyiv, and Moscow as well as the cities of China. Overtime both groups developed distinct cultures within the broader societies they lived in but often faced discrimination as a result of not being human and were at times subject to riots and mobs that forced them from the cities they were able to do well in, eventually during the mid 1800s, thousands of centuars decided that enough was enough and sought a better life for themselves and their families in America, but were trapped in the same cycles of abuse, poverty and inability to access institutions as they found in Europe, leading to centuars having to form their own communities to survive, creating distinct districts within major cities like New York, Boston and Chicago. Centuars were treated poorly for many years but during the 1960s worked with black activists to demand an end to discrimination and better access, while lipservice was paid to their cause in the 60s, the fight would continue onwards into the 1990s as centuars fought for an addition to the ADA which specifically addressed the discrimination faced by centuars in America and the lack of access they had to the public realm.
Fuck I accidentally turned centuars into a metaphor for disability
Why did the US never invest in High Speed Rail until now?
Would centaurs be included under the ADA, because on one hand being half horse isn’t a disability really but on the other hand they are so long they might not fit in normal elevators and too tall for most buildings and doorways, meaning they would have a hard time navigating the world without accommodations
So uh, I know this isn’t officially a music blog, I just talk about it to much, but I need to say this,
HOT TO GO! is not the gay Y.M.C.A.
The Y.M.C.A. is the gay Y.M.C.A it’s literally about gay cruising. I love both songs but seriously
Gay Folks love their Diagonal Streets
I’m going to be honest, the only girl I know in real life that I would describe as a fujoshi was an ableist TERF so that’s something
Walking down the street wearing a big sign reading:
“I have the Right Of Way and You Don’t, I Will Always Have it ,And You Never Will, Even if I Jaywalk, So Fuck You and your $20,000 Truck”
