KENTUCKY MENTION!

I often joke that there's three places in Kentucky: Louisville, Lexington, and Nowhere.

The truth is that most small places just feel like nothing to me personally because bigger cities call to me with the siren songs of transportation and so forth.

Most of Kentucky is small towns with tiny populations, hollers stacked on, in, and around hills, trains that are for everything except transit, and Nothing. A bizarre number of buildings that used to be churches but are now office buildings. The river sucks and is muddy and gross with catfish bigger than you are.

Love and hate it there.
