Three Bus Haiku Poems

Last year my city had a little contest for poetry to put on the buses. These are what I came up with. I didn't think they'd accept "Frigid Fingers", but I liked it too much not to enter it anyway. I hope it made some reader laugh. :D

“Summer Moves”

The sun beats down hot.
Asphalt bubbles and pops, but
Mass transit is cool.

“Frigid Fingers”

Brisk autumn winds gust.
Filling your gas tank when chilled
Also blows, some say.

“Commute”

Long and sleek, land-ship
There a coin drop, a card swipe,
A mind now at rest.
