Fanny Mendelssohn composed over 400 songs and have her other more famous composer brother, Felix Mendelssohn publish them under his name because woman, and then have Queen Victoria request that Felix sing one of Fanny’s songs, thinking that Felix wrote it, not Fanny. She also gave critiques and feed back of her brother’s work. WE RESPECT WOMEN CLASSICAL COMPOSERS IN THIS HOUSE!!
