How much do we think the average tumblr user knows about the American Public Transit Network?
I mean they obviously know the basics, like the routing of the BART, Chicago L, DC Metro and New York Subway
But do they know about the fires on the Boston T or the slow zones on the Boston T and Chicago L
What do they know of the St. Louis Metrolink and Minneapolis Metro or the Cincinnati Streetcar
Have the ever heard of the Las Vegas Monorail or the DC Streetcar
Do they know about the 5 votes in Seattle on whether or not to build a Monorail
Has the Tumblrina ever seen the NJ Transit River Line or so much as imagined the Newark Subway
Can a Tumblrina even conceptualize the Miami Metro Rail, do they have a love for the DART system despite its flaws, do they know about the way Texas prevents Houston from expanding its light rail, do they even know that the only reason Atlanta has a subway is because Seattle voted down a subway plan in the 70s because it ignored the Rainer Valley
I mean they obviously have never heard of the Light Rail plans for Louisville Kentucky in the 1990s but I do wonder if they know about the electrification of the Northeast Corridor that took place in the 90s
