I have to say, as someone who is currently taking the Amtrak to Chicago and about to hit the 6 hour mark on a 5.5 hour ride with 2 hours to go (possibly more if there are further delays), I am not enjoying it very much so far. I desperately wanted it to be a fun and convenient trip. Sadly, I may just do the 4.5 to 5 hour drive next time.
