1) The Pulsar artist view does include artist images. I think something may have been wrong with your network if it didn't load them.

2) You didn't mention how the larger widgets (4x4, 5x5, etc.) look and behave. Personally I'm a big fan of having half of one home screen page devoted to the music player widget so it looks like this:

I love how the album art takes up the entire widget area, and the fact that the repeat and shuffle controls are still there. I know a couple other music players show your queue in the large widget, but I've never found value in that.

Side note: I have the font size set to the smallest option on my phone so maybe things will look different for others.

I will try to fix the artist image issue but I might review larger widgets in a bit of people want to hear about the, not all of the apps have them
