"Cars may be evil" is what the gen z's are saying about one of the most liberating inventions in human history? Really? Is this cause they never learned to drive or?
Really, cars are liberating? A metal box that requires you to pay $12,000 annually to participate in society is liberating to you? There can and should be other ways to navigate society outside of the personal automobile. And that’s not even getting into how car related accidents are the second largest cause of accidental death in the US, with almost 43,000 people dying due to car related accidents in 2022 alone.
