I want to write something on the nature of humanity and how we are always growing and changing as people and to live is to change and our past selves are dead and we can't teather ourselves to them. But I want to explore this through Lesbianism somehow
I am thinking of having the manifestation of death befriend a girl who lost her lover and has since tried grow and become a different person but death reminds her of her lover and she tries to return to how she was and ignore how the world has changed but it's a pointless endeavor as that version of herself is dead and belongs to death and can not be taken back by herself. It ends with the girl trying to take her lover back from death and death becoming enraged and leaving so the girl and death part ways with death promising to see the girl one more time and a hope that it is on better terms this time.
I may retcon the girl to be transfem to make the Themes even more clear
