The point of the sex between the man and lesbian was just to have sex between friends without any romance or desire between them, the issue is there just aren’t many characters in the story to start with so to show that, I had to use those 2 characters.
To the point of what constitutes a toxic lesbian relationship, I am not entirely sure but I think cheating, murder and dating someone to try and get them to resurrect your dead girlfriend would all qualify
