far-sightedness is psychosomatic. your eyes believe whatever object your are viewing is about to collide so they blur it in order to protect themselves. the best cure is to watch films of approaching trains to desensitize your vision.

I do that every day for five hours a day and it is not working, although I suspect I may be developing some sort of telepathic link with locomotives all over the world
they mostly seem to be screaming constantly, because of the rails
@amtrak-official is this true.
They (the DMV) claim I have 20/40 vision but I don’t believe it because I can see the individual bricks in houses from quite a distance. But I don’t know anything about far sightedness, but I would always recommend train watching. The trains always scream great things at me
