I agree, we need a high speed rail network desperately, but we do have the Acela if you want to get technical, She barely meets the definition of HSR, but she meets it, so we technically have a little bit of HSR between DC and New York
American High-speed Rail is real and she is gorgeous

I generally don’t support cutting service, but I do have an exception, we should not have the Route 128/University Park Station on the Acela Corridor, Boston doesn’t need 3 acela stations and the land use there is terrible, it really should just be a Northeast Regional Station
Stop saying Brightline is High-speed rail and definitely stop saying it’s the nation’s first, the Acela Corridor has not been going at upwards of 165 mph since fucking 2000, for you to call Brightline which goes at 79 mph high speed rail
