Russia is not the USSR! It's not a leftist utopia. Hate to break it to y'all, but the USSR wasn't either. All the propaganda about living conditions was shot in the Russian SFSR, often in or around Moscow, and shit only looked that good b/c they stole everything that wasn't nailed down from the other republics.
And even if they were the USSR, invading a sovereign nation with an open goal to commit genocide is a lot more like the guy below.
Than whatever sort of liberators they want to paint themselves as.
