I like doing the urban design concepts because it is nice to explain the terms used in the urban design/urbanism sphere but they really don’t do as well as my silly little posts. I want to know, do you appreciate the urban design concepts posts?

So given that there was another train crash recently, I want to explain the position of this blog in relation to train crashes. I will not post about them unless someone else brings it up first. If someone else initiates a discussion of them however I will discuss it. The reason I don’t bring them up is because often people die or are seriously hurt by these crashes and I want this blog to remain fun and mostly light hearted for people. I love the community this blog has fostered and I want to keep that community one focused on positivity.

Yes, Urbanism is a fun topic and can coexist with trains

To ease any concerns the primary focus of the blog would still be Amtrak, American Rail infrastructure, and Trains in general, I would also just do more Urbanist aligned posts like the urbanist cities competition or my criticisms of the suburbs

@no1withablog I don’t actually know the exact percentages of what kind of content I post will be yet, But I do intent to make sure the majority will stay focused on Amtrak and Trains
