I want to ride the Empress herself, The Empire Builder. What’s the best time of year for either a million dollar view or an affordable ticket?
I haven’t rode the Empire Builder Personally, but the best time for an affordable ticket is 3 months away on a weekday that isn’t Friday
thelastvice asked:
As someone who has taken the Empire Builder from Seattle to Chicago, what do you consider to be a long train ride?
Anything over 24 hours would be long in my opinion, so Empire Builder is definitely a long one
This Black Friday don’t waste your money on a gift she will never use like a pearl necklace or a New PC, but her what she really wants, Round Trip Train Tickets on the Empire Builder from Seattle to Chicago

Just ordered tickets from Spokane to Chicago to meet up with a friend, it's a 4 day ride there and back. And I'm more excited about being on the train than actually meeting them
I know the train can be so exciting!!

heya Amtrak,
I want to visit a friend in Seattle, possibly via train, but I live in Virginia so it would be like a 3-day voyage or something. Is there a route you'd suggest? do I take two weeks off work? or do I just fly like a jackass?
I am going to assume you’re in DC for convenience. Take the Cardinal to Chicago and then take the Empire Builder to Seattle. That should be about 3 days
anoddreindeer asked:
What's your opinion on the Empire Builder out to the PNW?
Super cool route, I love that train

Vancouver BC to NYC NY?
Take Cascades then transfer to Empire Builder in Seattle, once in Chicago transfer to Lakeshore Limited
mathclasswarfare asked:
What's the fastest way to get from San Francisco to St. Paul, MN?
I would probably say Coast Starlight to Seattle than Empire Builder to St. Paul. You might get similar time if you do California Zephyr to Empire Builder but I doubt it.
