It’s pretty cool, it has an impressive scale and has exciting expansion plans
Seattle is asking people for input on a redesign of the Link’s Fare system until October 22nd. They are considering implementing a flat $3 fare and removing the need to tap out.

I am frequently impressed by the scale of the Seattle link. It’s a city that I have a lot of hope for, I think it can one day reach the same levels of transit as many east coast cities. Well if the projects don’t get ruined of course
I got news about Seattle’s future Transit plans, which are incredibly ambitious plan which would bring the Link to Ballard, West Seattle, the U district, Columbia City, Queen Anne, and Lake city
Boston has solved the Bus Driver shortage by doing what any sensible person would do, listening to the union and paying the workers
The station in Connersville Indiana has been made ADA accessible in a 1.7 million dollar project to revamp the station as part of Amtrak’s goal of having 100% of stations ADA accessible by 2029

Hello! In your opinion, what city in the US would be the best to live in, in terms of public transportation? Of your knowledge of public transportation abroad, which country is the best?
Unsuprising, New York and Chicago have the best public transit systems, DC ranks pretty well, San Francisco is pretty good, but Muni metro needs some improvements, LA and Philadelphia have a decent ones, but still needs a lot of work and better service in some regions, Seattle is getting there but still needs a bit of work. But any of those cities you could live happily without a vehicle depending on what neighborhood you live in. And all of these do still need work and are not anywhere near perfection.

My good train friend, do you also support and love local commuter trains / light rails? Seattle has a light rail extension to Bellevue that’s been postponed for yet another 5 years. Turns out that building a light rail over a floating bridge was harder than they thought. Also there were concrete failures so they have to rebuild the entire bridge.
Of course I support commuter trains, but that Bridge thing seems like it will be an issue. Seattle does seriously excite me with it being one of the news and fastest growing mass transit systems in the Nation
