The staple food for trains in some countries(Kazakhstan) are cheap instant noodles in a plastic bowl made with boiling water from a train boiler. Mainly because like 90% of the trains in the country are overnight cause of the long distances.
Also on the train stations between big towns there are people selling homemade food and products. They are the best.
10/10, I love humanity, this reminds of a story I heard about how in the 50s there was a Dutch Family who everytime the train went by, they would sell Coffee to all the passengers through the windows
